Public Information Centres:

A series of Public Information Centres (PICs) were planned for the project. They were held when sufficient details existed to present the final design, for each of the three project phases.

Public Information Centre No. 1 and 2

PIC #1 was held on April 8 and 9, 2008. A second PIC was held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the Cedar Village Pickerel River Marina, located at Highway 69 and Lower French Road in Pickerel, ON.

The Public Information Centres were advertised in the following newspapers:

• Sudbury Le Voyageur
• Sudbury Star

Design and Construction Report

A DCR for all Advance Tree Clearing Contracts and for the Phase 1 contract was made available for public viewing for 30 days in July 2008. A second DCR will be prepared and made available for review in the Report section of this website when completed.

Advance Clearing Contracts

An advanced tree clearing contract was completed in the Spring of 2009 for Phase 1. A second advance tree clearing contract for Phases 2 and 3 was completed between the Fall of 2009 and Spring of 2010
